Pros

There are a TON of pros. The pay is out of this world. There aren't many jobs where you can make this much in a single season. The hours are flexible. The staff is extremely supportive and helpful. Those all are nothing in comparison to the culture. I worked a lot of places and did many different types of jobs and I can say without a doubt that the culture is one of the MOST important focuses of my management. More specifically - I don't have bosses looking to jump down my throat but rather are constantly asked for opportunities to serve my best interest. I have ALL the tools I need to perform and then some. I can be honest with all my superiors (and have done so) without resentment or reprisal. People matter and there is no place that focuses on that truth more than Advocate Construction

Cons

You will work! While the hours are flexible, this is not a place to clock in and stare at the wall until you are done. You Have to be switched on and ready to go. Some nights maybe long nights in season.

Pros

At Advocate every employee is a supportive teammate; regardless of position or job description. We work hard together, laugh together, and during a downtime, someone will be there to lift you up. We all want each other to be successful and recognized. That is why as a current employee I make it my duty to maintain that environment for new hires.

Cons

Door to door sales is not for everyone. You have to have a goal, and a perseverance mindset to make it. If you do, the team/company will equip you with the tools and necessary support to succeed.

Our teams are bound together by their trust in one another and their love and passion for what they do. We are happy to hear of your experiences and are grateful for the difference you make in maintaining that encouraging workplace environment for new hires. We know that door-to-door sales may not be easy, but it sure is worth it. We are proud to provide all of our employees with the tools and foundation to succeed.

Pros

Culture. Culture. Culture. I have worked many jobs before finding my career with Advocate. I have a very strong personality. Love me. Or hate me. (Most the time it was hate) However here at Advocate I have truly found a home in my immediate leaders/mentors. They saw the strengths in me that I knew I brought to the table and they enhanced those strengths to a lot of drive. All through acceptance and coaching. Fun. Fun. Fun. I genuinely have never worked anywhere that rewards and pays back their employees more than advocate does with incentive trips, team outings, and fun weekly team meetings. Seriously, STL market meetings are fun, come to one. Growth. I’ll make this one simple. I still haven’t been at Advocate 3 years and because of the amount of effort and time I have put into advocate I am already a sales manager and even when I thought things were going to plateau there is still more room to grow and it’s not far away if I have it my way! Seriously though, this is not your average job. If you allow it to become your career it will open so many new doors for you. The moment I succumbed myself to advocates way is the moment my life changed for the better professionally. And we all know when that side of life is crushing, your personal life only gets more enhanced.

Cons

Finding what balance means to you with the idea of a results only workplace. This will always be a challenge for anyone because 24 hours in a day is not enough time for all the important things we need or want in our life.
