Pros

Company paid outings, kitchen with lots of snacks.

Cons

No time for anything other than work, pressure to get claims as soon as you step in the door,by meetings, calls during the day, reports at the end of your shift. Door to door sales no matter the weather. For the amount of hours you work you make very little money.

Advocate Construction Response

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience with Advocate Construction. We appreciate your candor, and we take feedback seriously as it helps us continually improve. We're sad to hear that your experience with our door-to-door sales approach did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to create a positive and supportive environment for all our team members, and your feedback is crucial in helping us identify areas for improvement. We understand that door-to-door sales can be challenging, but it is very effective. We typically see very low penetration rates with other marketing methods and find ourselves competing for an appointment time with a homeowner. Eventually, with our territory management strategy, we see our salespeople spend more time responding to inbound calls and experience more and more direct introductions to neighbors from happy customers. It sounds like you were not with us long enough to experience the personal growth that we promise. We love to see the perspective change from doubt in our process, to doubt in self, to conviction in our process, and finally total belief in self. After that, we see our salespeople take advantage of uncapped commissions and unlimited PTO to afford great balance and flexibility in how they approach work and life and the balance they need. Our door-to-door approach is one aspect of our approach that affords us this opportunity. At Advocate Construction, we continuously work to enhance our training programs, provide better resources, and create a supportive culture for our sales team. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to make positive changes.
