Excellent Company to Work For

Pros

I've worked in similar positions for several companies and Advocate has by far been the best experience. Managers and team members have done a great job of keeping toxic nonsense out of the workplace. While the job is heavily reliant on your performance it offers a flexibility that doesn't come with other W-2 (commissioned) positions. Uncapped earning potential is just a bonus in my mind. If you can motivate and organize yourself this is the place to be.

Cons

Because the job is performance based the pressure to perform can be a little daunting for someone who isn't acclimated to it. The company is in the process of growing so new programs are launched and old ones are tweaked frequently.

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We agree that great people and competitive pay are two of the many factors that set our organization apart from the rest. We are, however, disappointed to hear that your training experience was unsatisfactory. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do at Advocate Construction. This is why we offer an initial training session for new hires, followed by continuous one-on-one training in the field. We also regularly hold training meetings within each market in order to share best practices, give and receive guidance, and have fun getting to know one another. If this was not your experience, or if you feel that this training did not leave you with adequate support, we ask that you please contact us by emailing hr@advocateconstruction.com. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn from your time with us, as we are always looking for ways to improve as a company.
