Pros

Advocates treats the people they serve very well. If only they treated their staff half as well they'd have the key to success.

Cons

Low pay for long hours with a lot of games and favoritism.

Pros

Supportive and knowledgeable supervisors. Promotes career development and training opportunities. Most individuals are team-oriented and collaborative. Great exposure to different service models and interventions. Very good employee benefits.

Cons

Difficult to get wage/salary increases consistently. Most raises come through advancement/promotions. Occasional difficulty with work-life balance but the time off and employee benefits are helpful for that.
