Pros

If you are a mindless follower with not much skills, this may be the place for you. If you enjoy being micro-managed and pigeon holed, then this is the place to be.

Cons

This place will make you jump through hoops and then they will black ball you. Employs people who haven't a clue. Employs people who are on a power trip. The staff is rude and uncaring.

Pros

You get to see the result of your hard work. There is nothing better than seeing a person get a position they really wanted and having them thank you for it.

Cons

Extremely long work hours for little pay compared to the market. Commission structure is a joke you will not make alot of money there even when you have a high commission when you look at how many hours 50-60 hrs you worked. Relationship building is going to lunches/breakfasts with strangers, who may be looking for work. People who are obsessed with Aerotek act like they are in a cult and have no real work life balance whatsoever! Every single person follows the same exact schedule which gives you no room to be creative, they want everybody to be a clone. Turnover is the worst with people leaving left and right.

Pros

Aerotek will hire you straight out of college when other employers will not even look at your resume because you lack the experience. It is a good place to learn all the basics about the corporate environment.

Cons

You work under very stressful circumstances. Managers are under more pressure than recruiters because they need to bring in the business, although as a recruiter you are also expected to identify leads and break into new accounts.
