Pros

The people they hire are great and you will have fun at work for the first six months or so. They do take you out to happy hour and let you drink free on the company if they are doing well. There is the potential to earn big bucks but it comes at a price and you won't make it as a recruiter. They give you opportunity for advancement that can seemed forced sometimes. By this I mean they push you into sales even if you are unsure. The average age in the office is mid to late 20s.

Cons

The management is terrible and if things aren't going well they will pass the blame down the line rather than look at themselves. A person one level above you that you work for can make well into the six figures while you are lucky to make in the mid $40s...kind of like a pyramid scheme actually. After six months in the job you will hate it and become either burnt out our feel like someone stole your soul. This may sound harsh but trust me it's true. There is a reason that the average age in most of the offices is mid to late 20s...it's because people quit after a year or two and once you leave you are almost stuck in the staffing industry.

Pros

Given a lot of responsibility early one, learn how to deal with a variety of business situations. Very young offices, fun atmosphere. Opportunity to make a lot of money at a young age.

Cons

Very young management who rarely manage employees, sometimes its almost a fraternity type atmosphere. Numbers/production tend to be micromanaged regardless of production levels. Money vs hours worked is no where nearly enough to justify the time you put in unless your a top 20% performer. Work life balance is non existent. Recruiters are promoted often and early, anyone who has been in a job for a year or less doesnt really have an idea of whats going on, but they're put in positions to manage new recruiters.

Pros

You are given all the tools to develop professionally. The contact and responsibilty i have had with upper level management within many different companies will unlikely be received with other companies. The satisfaction of helping people find work they will enjoy and be able to provide for their families.

Cons

The hours worked vs. the pay received. At one point I was over $9,000 in "spread" and the % received for this amount is not worth the stress, time, and dedication that is expected. Accountability to hit numbers. Numbers are just numbers I could hit the numbers they asked but I would do it just hit the numbers. I felt like sometime they were more concerned about quantity rather quality. I didn't feel like we were better than other staffing companies. We charge clients twice the amount compared to other staffing companies.
