Cons

Compensation is at least 30% less than other companies, bonus dollars and merit increases are also on the low side.

Pros

- great work/life balance - flexible schedules including working from home a few days per week - great office amenities

Cons

- underwriters get promoted together, so individual performance isn't nearly as important as the department's budget to promote every underwriter at the same time. - pay is a little less than market value, but the culture and work/life balance make up for it
