Pros

- very warm and supportive team members and leadership team - remote first/hybrid flexible approach, nice office available in Toronto (walkable from Union Station), team aims to coordinate being in office on same day to have lunch together and collaborate - great benefits (unlimited PTO, in-office lunch and commuter benefit, monthly book perk, annual learning & wellness benefit) - smooth onboarding, equipped with tools and information to succeed from Day 1 (amazing Notion docs), buddy system! - team socials, company socials, recognition for great work done - collaboration with global teams

Cons

I don't feel many cons/concerns with AfterShip, as they're quite proactive, assessing how to improve and innovate with the product and employee experience. There are a few times when I have to jump on calls outside of standard working hours due to working in a global company, but it's flexible and I'm able to adjust my schedule during the day if that's the case.

Great place to work!

Pros

Great benefits that are better than what’s commonly offered elsewhere, along with a lot of flexibility and autonomy in how you work. The culture and people, especially in the Toronto office are genuinely great. Everyone is aligned on the company’s mission and focused on helping the business succeed. The company is growing quickly and has a strong financial trajectory. People are collaborative, supportive, and always willing to help you succeed. Overall, the people really make this a great place to work.

Cons

There aren’t many major downsides, but the company is always looking to improve. You need to be able to adapt, keep up, and put in the work. That said, strong performance is recognized and rewarded, which makes it all worthwhile.
