Pros

They'll hire anyone, so good for entry-level job seeker.

Cons

Low pay, drama-queen coworkers, worst of all: the corporate politics are so thick you can cut it with a knife.

Pros

Really interesting and cool job. You get to say "I clean up crime scenes" which is really awesome.

Cons

Very inconsistent pay. You can go a few weeks without getting a job call and during that time you're not getting paid. It's very hard to manage your finances with this job

Thank you for sharing your feedback. This is certainly a unique career that many of our employees find rewarding and challenging. Our missions to serve families whenever and wherever the need arises does require commitment, and sometimes, a lifestyle adjustment. There will be some weeks that require longer work hours, and other weeks, fewer hours. I understand that translates into fluctuation in earnings, which is why we pay for overtime and offer holiday pay to compensate for that variability. We appreciate your candid comments and are continuously looking for ways to invest more into our field teams.

The WORST company I

Pros

Unfortunately, absolutely none at all.

Cons

The CEO (with the corporate attorney) separates himself from the employees in a totally separate part of the office behind a locked door. Everyone is frighted of him! The rest of the executive team also act superior, and do not interact with employees. With an exception --- One of the founding owners often yells and curses loudly when someone on his team does something wrong! Employees are unfriendly. They do not interact with anyone that is outside their project / customer service team. The company is constantly fighting bad press! A number of customers have filed lawsuits against Aftermath Services for bad financial practices and untrue claims. Also, there are quite a few disgruntled former employees who were either mistreated or "blew the whistle" on bad practices.
