Pros

Work/life balance is great. This would be a good place to work if you have a family. Culture is also great - individual contributors really want to help each other.

Cons

Benefits erode just about each year. Pay is completely substandard for software engineers in the bay area. Wofkforce is aging, which means that while there's a lot of experience, there's not as much creativity. Retention of younger employees is pretty low.
