Pros
Your manager will make or break your role. A bad manager will make you feel like you want to quit, a good manager will have you wanting to stay. There are always opportunities for OT/Special duties.
Cons
Pay is low-median for the industry, and the company isn't terribly proactive about correcting compression, regularly starting new hires out at more than experienced employees. There is a culture of micromanagement from Clinical Base Leads as there is no formal management and leadership training for CBL's prior to promotion other than what they get themselves compared to other public safety agencies.
