Pros
Amazing folks to work with. Really passionate about saving lives.
Cons
Would like a few more internal opportunities to transition and cross-train. I don't care much for promotions or advancement. I seek more breadth about the business and the lives we save. But right now there doesn't seem to be much direct investment in keeping our technical skills current or cross-training with other teams. "Silos" come to mind... If I were a skeptic, I might think there was some degree of knowledge hoarding. Or maybe folks are simply too busy to train others--fair enough. But that is a vicious cycle that can only be cured with... MORE TRAINING!
