Tough hours, but you are compensated for it. Feel part of a team (in the field, NOT Denver) that is making a very real difference in people’s lives.

Cons

CEO is TOXIC and has single-handedly destroyed the culture at this company. She has no long term strategy, just short term fixes. What she considered a great idea yesterday and implemented as a company priority, is today someone else’s horrible plan and fired if they remind her of our misguided strategy. She cannot stick to a plan for more than a few months. Jumps from one place to another.

Strong purpose, valuable work and great training.

Cons

Horrible place to work! Executive team is a arrogant group of ostrichs with their heads in the sand. In their little special bubble they lack a grasp of business reality or their responsibility for others. They spend on themselves, flights home and hotels every week on the company dime, fancy retreats at 5 star resorts and all kinds of extra benefits while employees are paid under market, worked extra long hours and asked to economize on everything. Terrible living condition at the bases and a general culture that lacks respect. Heaven help you if you speak the truth or deliver bad news - you might as well go ahead and pack your desk.
