Significant opportunities for advancement, particularly at lower to middle management levels. Training process for new employees has significantly improved. Competitive pay and better than average benefit package.

Cons

Leadership transparency could be improved.

Pros

salary, company offers a great service in need to patients at difficult times, good for clinician staffs

Cons

Besides a one week training course on the computer system, they offer no training, everything is learn as you go. If you do not learn on your own quickly, you can still get ahead by brown nosing your way to the top and praising yourself to your superiors with your accomplishments! You are overworked and do not do enough hours if you are only doing the 40 hours.

Leading providers of care, lagging in taking care of employees

Pros

Air Methods medical crews provide some of the best care in the air medical industry. The company has a very strong dedication to mission safety.

Cons

As the company has grown too fast, they have lost sight of our own stated core values. Increasing disconnect between corporate and base personnel. Pay rates are not matching market from which we need to hire. The company is asking highly experienced nurses and paramedics to leave good paying jobs and come work for significantly small starting pay.
