      Pros

      You get to work with great people and some a very dedicated to their job. Learned new skills in reference to shipping, logistic management, and the refrigerant business. 401K and insurance benefits are good.

      Cons

      No room for career advancement; a lot of the employees at the company have been working there for over 15 years at the same position. Unless someone retires or leaves, there is not much advancing in any department. There is also a lack of communication between employees and upper management. When there is a huge issue, upper management seems to just tell employees they need "get it done." There is no explanation of why and how to resolve the task.

      Pros

      Airgas has been changing in ways that give employees opportunities. New software and call centers along with restructuring have made it a dynamic organization for the past decade.

      Cons

      Airgas seems to be struggling to balance customer service, being a good employer, and their desire to maximize profits.

      Are you reading all the bad review your management is getting?

      Out of touch and do not care about there staff, do you have any idea how much better Airgas would be if you fired 50% of your upper management and hired staff that cares, for the working force that's makes the company move, those lazy pen pusher should come down couple levels and do the work for a week, problem is they have not a clue what we do. Just saying
