      Great co workers, great pay but....

      Pros

      Awesome co workers, great pay, union job, great benefits, steady work, good chance to advance or transfer to another location.

      Cons

      Hours, some days 8 to 430, some 330 am to 2 pm. Lots and lots of testing. NO matter how long you have been driving you still have to go to driving school for 2 weeks. Airgas does pay you back for all expenses, but you have to pay out of pocket first. Even after a few months I still kind of feel lost in my job.

      Pros

      Your knowledge and skills are noticed almost immediately My branch has a GREAT staff who communicate well Weekends off, rarely work after 5 pm Everyone knows family and health come first, which makes management VERY accommodating to time off I feel like an asset to the company which makes coming to work day in and day out enjoyable

      Cons

      upper management seem to be more concerned with their matrix percentages and statistics rather than customer service SAP will take years to master Computers and electronics used daily at the branch seem a bit archaic They hang a driver bonus over our drivers head which seem unattainable for some routes making the driver wanting to rush which could potentially cause a safety hazard. In my opinion, it should just be instilled into their hourly wage

      Great people who work hard at the branch and plant locations.

      Cons

      Being constantly micro-managed and not allowed as a manager to make your own decisions. Hard-work is not valued or appreciated. Branch and plant locations are expected to sacrifice but no cuts or changes are made in leadership positions.
