Great product, evolving culture, lots of opportunity
Pros
I joined Airtable in 2024, drawn by the opportunity to work on a uniquely flexible product with the potential to reshape how teams build and manage workflows. The platform genuinely solves real problems across industries, and it's especially rewarding to engage with customers who are passionate about what they’ve built. Over time, the product has become more opinionated, which is helping us establish clearer, more repeatable sales plays across segments. The team is sharp, ambitious, and collaborative, and there’s a strong culture of cross-functional work and ownership. Under the new leadership, we’ve gained greater focus and direction, and it feels like we’re on a more defined and promising trajectory.
Cons
Like many scaling companies, change is constant—energizing but occasionally disorienting. Processes are still maturing, and internal alignment can be inconsistent, particularly post-reorg. Some functions are still finding their rhythm, which can lead to short-term ambiguity. While the workload is manageable, it can spike during key quarters and requires proactive balance. Additionally, there’s room for further investment in sales-adjacent functions like enablement, ops, and support. These teams are evolving, but currently lag behind what you'd expect from more mature go-to-market organizations.
