I'm frankly shocked at many of the negative reviews. If you expect to only work the standard hours and not care about delivering results, why did you join a startup? Airwallex have some growing pains - it's now a company of 400+ employees but it's a global company with a lot of very smart people. Fintech is still one of the fastest growing industry and there are many great opportunities ahead.

Cons

A lot of pressure and tight deadlines -- lazy people should not join a tech startup.

Pros

Airwallex is a place filled with a lot of smart people. It certainly is not a place for people who are used to a relaxed workplace as it is very high pressured and an intense place to work. However, I learned a lot from working here and it absolutely accelerated my career. The pace is fast but it also drove the team forward.

Cons

There's still some culture problems as it is a global company with offices in different countries. The team grows very quickly so be prepared for frequent org chart changes.
