Fast-paced growth means priorities can shift quickly, which may feel overwhelming at times. High expectations and ambitious goals can be stressful, but they also drive personal and professional development.

Toxic system and feelings in hiring

Pros

Young and potential platform to grow. Supportive and smart peers and colleagues to cooperate.

Cons

Poor management and leadership: The hiring system inside the company was really toxic especially the CEO and the founder micro-manage the hiring. Almost every offer needs to be approved by the founder even junior level positions, which means that even you delivered the proposed offer to candidates orally, there's high probability that the offer will fail in the approval process because of a lot of ridiculous reasons (not strong profile or education background even thought the candidate has passed all interview rounds). As a recruiter inside, I also delivered several calls to candidates that failed in the offer approval process. I personally tried everything to influence, but most time it's a fail. I don't understand why the hiring process would be so toxic like that. I think the founder and the CEO really don't care about the talents so they acted like they are emperors who have the power to say 'no' to those who have come through interviews. They also don't show the respect to recruiters cause they take the efforts from recruiters for granted. Apparently they enjoy the power they own. However, I still want to say that company branding and culture are conveyed by these details and the feelings from talents and employees. Everyone has their judgement internally and we shall see.

Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback and your positive comments about our platform and colleagues. It’s disheartening to hear about your experience with our hiring process. The situation you described does not reflect the respectful and fair environment we are committed to building. Our senior leadership remains deeply involved in hiring because we care about getting it right. Having a high bar for talent is important to us. However, you're correct that in our earlier days, this sometimes lengthened the process. We've since evolved significantly. We now have clear role-based approval structures that empower our recruiting team to act with confidence. Most importantly, we've implemented firm guardrails—all approvals must be completed before any verbal offer is extended—ensuring a smooth, transparent, and respectful experience for both candidates and recruiters. We're committed to maintaining our high standards while treating every candidate and team member with the respect they deserve. Your honesty helps us continue improving.
