Pros

The company leadership is ambitious and the company is growing, which makes it exciting to be part of the team. In my experience at SG, hard work is rewarded and A players are empowered. The office is located in a great place in Boulder that makes the commute easy. SurveyGizmo is a group full of welcoming people who care about each other, and the direction of the company.

Cons

Like any 10+ year old company, there are parts of the tech stack that are outdated. That said, the team is currently modernizing systems piece by piece, which means there are tons of opportunities for engineers to influence the new architecture.

Pros

People here really care for each other, it's like a big family. Tons of perks. Lots of flexibility and opportunity to learn. Managers that really CARE about their staff, and leadership that works their butt off to embrace change and growth. Everyone is pushing to improve, all the time.

Cons

Change is constant. Direction changes quickly. Must be ready to adapt or leave.
