Pros

This is a shining example of the new workforce: People who REALLY care about their work, their customers, and each other. From the tangible things (a fully stocked kitchen complete with craft beer, Ping Pong table, bike fleet for employees, comfy "living-room" areas to work) and the perks (free massages, fun company-paid events, free taxi rides), to the benefits (way better than the Fortune 500 company I came from), and the culture (open-book environment, big on community involvement, focus on work-life balance)... I can honestly say this is the best place I've worked.

Cons

This is a fast-paced company. Be prepared to learn quickly, act quickly, and change quickly.

-Great pay -Awesome employee amenities -Challenging but not stressful -Room for advancement -Great benefits -Cool/zen office setting(theres a robot for remote employees!) -Fully stocked kitchen -Friendly/supportive coworkers -Laid back yet productive work environment -Endless stock of candy(this was important for me) -No micromanagement/great managers -Weekly meetings are fun/informative about happenings of different departments -Great company morale overall and universal vision throughout -CEO is a really nice guy who cares about the growth of the company and its employees -Must I go on?

Cons

None that I can think of. I have to wonder why there are any negative reviews. Perhaps they do not like people in general?

Several Issues with this company

Pros

The CEO, Christian Vanek is a really nice guy. Most of the low level non-engineering employees are really fun.

Cons

A dead end situation that continues to get worse. A terrible example is set by management and thus passed down to generations of short term employees. No matter what your skill level is, you will become worse. No planning, no testing, no direction, zero coding standards, no maintenance, no code reviews, no defined deliverables, no architectural discussions, no oversight, no coordination or meaningful collaboration, absolutely horrible codebase, zero consistency, no testability and absolutely no dedication to industry standard practices. The "team" has a generally frenzied manner, crazily distracted by the lack of direction, with management that truly doesn't care enough to fix the unbelievable amount of technical debt. The worst case scenario. Horrible pay, no passion, no creativity, no fun.

Hi, I don't agree with anything in your review (well, other than my being a good guy), but you are totally entitled to your own opinion! Thanks for the advice? I guess? Actually I have no idea what to say to a review I disagree with so much. Well, I can honestly wrap it up with this: I wish you the best of luck in the future. I hope you find a position that is a better fit to your needs, habits and perspective! Cheers, -Christian
