Pros

Cool people. Lots of snacks. Pay was good and awesome HR team.

Cons

Where do I begin. Zero career pathing. In the last year they fired the cmo, ceo, tons of sales staff, director of product marketing… literally zero chance for any sort of growth. They move slow as snails, bombard every team with constant changes leading to a very poor last year financially. We went from “going to be sold in 3 years” to the CEO telling the entire company now it looks like 10 years… days before he was fired by the private equity firm that owns them. Completely under resourced, mismanaged and an environment of fear and uncertainty. Turnover on sales teams like I’ve never experienced and just no path to solidify themselves in their market. Mediocre products at best. Would recommend staying away from Alchemer as it’s only getting worse.

Pros

When I was hired in 2021 it was a great place to launch a career in tech as a B2B Tech Support Rep and explore different career possibilities in SaaS and tech. I really loved the mission based on advocating for customers.

Cons

The fun atmosphere gradually disappeared after the company changed owners. It went from feeling fun and meaningful to feeling more about maximizing profits than anything else. All I remember from every company-wide meeting of 2024 is "cut costs, cut cost, cut costs. Do more with less." The same old profit-over-people corporate environment. I quickly regretted asking for guidance from my leadership, lost hope on transferring to a more suitable role, and was relieved to get laid off. I had not realized how draining it was to keep showing up for a job that wasn't fun anymore until it took a solid 2 weeks to feel fully rested again after being released.
