      Great mission, challenging product culture

      Pros

      Aledade is a great healthcare company with people who are really smart and mission driven. When it comes to value based healthcare policy and strategy the company is very data driven. Above market pay and generous health insurance benefits.

      Cons

      Aledade is not a technology company but is a healthcare company that desires to be more technology enabled. As such it is go through a digital transformation and transitioning from a startup to a more established company. The experience of employees is really going to differ based on what department they're in. From my experience in the product team, this can be very challenging leaving the product management function in a much more tactical and reactive role than they'd be in a tech company.

      Great Peers, Terrible Managers, Rampant Disrespect

      Pros

      Your peers are kind and always helpful.

      Cons

      Little to no job training. When asking for feedback none is given and then you're supposed to know what you're doing wrong without being told. Managers are not there to protect you or your job. Will fire you without reason.

      Flexible schedule, managers encourage feedback and ideas

      Cons

      They go through the same cycle, when the financial year is ending, they realize they’ve bit off more than they can chew and lay people off. They’ve structured their bonuses so they don’t have to give bonuses right at this time in accordance with the CMS payouts. You rarely see a VP/director getting fired, rather they will make a new position for them, while letting go of the people who actually do the work.
