      Good company, good benefits, but US tech roles being moved to India

      - good benefits package, time off, 401(k) match - solid internal system infrastructure - on the job training is provided

      Cons

      - heavy workload with a just-get-it-done mentality - outsourcing technology work to Wipro, so fewer US tech roles available - annual merit salary increases have been minimal in recent years

      Working from home during pandemic.

      Cons

      Layoffs in Jan. 2020 then a shift of employment over to contracting agencies. At this point there are more contractors than Alight Full time employees. Everyone in the Customer Care group is doing the work of 2-3 full time employees. Management is awful and they don't require managers to have college degrees. As long as managers continue to kiss the butts of leadership, they get to keep their job. One Alight Value is that People Matter and the internal joke amongst employees is that, "People Matter, unless you are an Alight Employee."
