Good intentions, aging company

Pros

The people who work there truly want to do the best work they can, and there have been people there for 10-30 years, has the structure for career growth and learning.

Cons

The leadership has gotten real shaky with the C-Suite and executive leadership shuffling around a lot. Feels rudderless, leading to drop stock prices and layoffs year over year in an industry that should be rock solid. Have a lot of folks on ELTs who think they know what they're doing making bad calls without actual experience.

Great company - not as profitable

Pros

Alight is an incredible company when it comes to the people, culture, and benefits. It's what is keeping me there. My managers are superb individuals who genuinely care. The benefits provided by the company (especially the paternity leave) are fantastic!

Cons

Alight has had trouble being profitable recently, really cutting into their ability to provide raises/promotions. They need to turn this around because this is going on year 3 (at least) of their struggles.

Constant layoffs for year-over-year intaking more clients than what we can actually handle with no change in structure to help manage large volume
