      Pros

      No pros, they are not a good company.

      Cons

      Alight protects their executives from complaints and will not hold them accountable. The CISO is a volatile bully who explodes on people and threatens them. After reporting his actions to HR, they then said they performed an investigation and found nothing. Do not join Alight as they will not protect you as an employee. Barrett Gobeyn is a horrible leader.

      Pros

      The only pro to this job is working remotely.

      Cons

      Work/life balance is horrible. Work is always behind. Supervisors take forever to respond on recommendations creating more work and more stress. Supervisor’s except immediate response to anything yet can’t respond to their appeals specialist timely themselves. The company as a whole isn’t in compliance with FMLA or ERISA guidelines and shows no urgency to fix that issue. Extreme micromanaging environment (on non important issues). No real training and then blames the employees they hire as “just not being able to catch on.”

      The check pays your bills.

      Cons

      They just flat out don't value expertise. Hard work is only rewarded with more hard work. They will assign you far more clients than anybody could handle in anywhere close to 40 hours per week and then look at you sideways when you refuse to pull nonstop 50-60 hour weeks all year long. They managed to suck the joy out of every holiday season I spent there...I miss a lot of the people I worked with but not the company as a whole.
