      Years of my career I will never get back

      Pros

      Flexibility from manager and some smart colleagues

      Cons

      Where do I start? False promises on what a role would be. Furloughs for 9 months after which they buy a company with a lot of cash and make a lot of people redundant. No care or respect for employees. You could excuse this if the operations were efficient. They are not. Within 2 weeks of starting I saw how disjointed my division was. I decided to stay for a few years and then saw I was wasting my time. I have no achievements to show for those five years. I am now in an employer where I am valued and my potential is fulfilled.

      Pros

      Decent pay, sick time and vacation time.

      Cons

      Management. Plant manager and supervisors allow bullying to happen and do nothing to stop it. HR doesn’t do anything about it either. And if you say something to them about it they tell you they don’t want to hear it, threaten your job or retaliate. Supervisor girlfriend works there and causes most of the problems. She bullies everyone She tells everyone one in the shop about him being on instagram while she’s performing on him and how he hits her children. Lazy workers are rewarded while the hard working have to pick up the lazy worker’s slack. It’s a hostile work environment. No room for advancement. Dead end job.

      Pros

      Generous vacation time but done to eliminate payouts when termed. Terminations are extreme.

      Cons

      Management Style is dishonesty rules. Unsupportive management. Workload is excessive, term employees and pass workload on to remaining employees while not replacing positions.
