Pros

Extremely bright people are attracted to great cause and Paul Allen’s unlimited money makes for nice offices and toys.

Cons

CEO is horrible and the rest of mgmt are not far behind. How you can screw up a non profit with tons of money is baffling. Just backwards policies made by a bunch of control freaks with no leadership skills nor backbone to stand up to the tryrant ceo.

Pros

World class science and great support from the founder.

Cons

The worst management structure of any place I have ever worked. While the non-profit, "doing science for the right reasons" draw is admirable, the heartless, corporate style of management is dismaying.

Great science, poor admin and senior leadership

Pros

The science and colleagues are superb.

Cons

The senior leadership is unkind, entitled, and out of touch. Although there are kind individuals in all departments, the administrative and computer support leaves a lot to be desired.
