Pros

Allendale allows you the opportunity to advance as a professional in the field of mental health by working with clients from the ages of 10yrs-old to 19yrs-old. and from the on going training that is both lecture and hands-on you are able to apply the newly learned skills. The training you receive is in my option very practical aka user friendly. 99.99% of the supervisors are very much approachable whenever you have a concern in dealing with how to better understand the kids we work with on the daily.

Cons

The long hours that you sometime have to work may not be for everyone if you chose to be apart of the Allendale family. The amount we are paid should be more.

Pros

Family friendly and flexible; excellent benefits. The agency is committed to employee professional growth and training. There are opportunities for promotion.

Cons

Stressful work. Fast paced environment. The children are victims of traumatic experience so staff need to have a strong sense of self.
