Pros

Commissions can be enormous if you hit the jackpot. You can make more money here than almost anywhere else. But the payoff comes at the cost of enduring a brutal culture, relentless pressure, and managers who thrive on control.

Cons

- Most people are either trapped in the same position with the same pay or have already escaped the company. - The work environment is relentlessly toxic. - Managers push advisors to hit impossible sales targets every day, week, and month. - Harassment is constant. - Each day grows more stressful and exhausting. - There is no quiet, no relief, and no moment to breathe. - Micromanaging and nonstop nagging dominate every interaction. - Commissions may rise, but base pay, position, and managerial cruelty never change. - The environment crushes energy and morale relentlessly.

While the work can be demanding, we are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful work environment, and leadership concerns are addressed promptly when needed. Our compensation package is competitive within the industry, and many advisors consistently exceed their goals and find their role rewarding and fulfilling.

Pros

No micromanagement, laid back environment

Cons

They constantly create false hope that it’s getting better but month after month it’s same. Extremely difficult to earn any commission so if you’re okay with $17/hr as your income Lead quality is horrendous, zero retention team so any deal you do sign is likely canceled with no effort to save from by retention.

We appreciate the feedback and want to address a few points directly. We do not promote false or misleading expectations regarding compensation or commission. Earnings are based on clearly defined performance metrics that are communicated upfront. While commission earnings can vary based on performance and consistency, many team members do successfully earn commission and find the role rewarding. Lastly, we maintain a dedicated retention team with established processes to actively review and retain eligible accounts whenever possible.

Pros

You learn how to deal with tough calls, but seriously, I'd tell anyone to beware and probably avoid this place.

Cons

I got excited during the interview, but once I started, it was a completely different story. Most of the calls are frustrating and honestly feel wrong, trying to convince people of things they don't really need. The turnover is insane, and you quickly see why so many people leave after a few weeks. Base pay is okay, but making any commission is tough unless you're really aggressive, which makes the job feel exhausting. Training mostly pushes you to refer friends before you even understand the work, which is a huge warning sign. Management barely checks in, and the environment is high-pressure with almost no support.

Many of our advisors have built long-term careers at Alleviate and have contributed to a stable and experienced team. The sales team is highly motivated and consistently exceeds goals. While we appreciate referrals, they are always voluntary. Alleviate takes leadership concerns seriously and addresses them promptly when needed. We appreciate your feedback.
