Pros

You learn how to deal with tough calls, but seriously, I'd tell anyone to beware and probably avoid this place.

Cons

I got excited during the interview, but once I started, it was a completely different story. Most of the calls are frustrating and honestly feel wrong, trying to convince people of things they don't really need. The turnover is insane, and you quickly see why so many people leave after a few weeks. Base pay is okay, but making any commission is tough unless you're really aggressive, which makes the job feel exhausting. Training mostly pushes you to refer friends before you even understand the work, which is a huge warning sign. Management barely checks in, and the environment is high-pressure with almost no support.

All of the sales calls at Alleviate are fully compliant with regulatory rules and guidance. Many of our advisors have built long-term careers at Alleviate and have contributed to a stable and experienced team. The sales team is highly motivated and consistently exceeds goals. While we appreciate referrals, they are always voluntary. Alleviate takes leadership concerns seriously and addresses them promptly when needed. We appreciate your feedback.

Pros

The pay structure is fair, and the office space is pleasant, but that is the only positive.

Cons

- Goals made no sense compared to the workload and constant system failures. - Every day felt like firefighting rather than achieving anything meaningful. - Clients grew frustrated, and employees were left overwhelmed and unheard. -Feedback that could have solved real problems was ignored repeatedly. - The impossible demands pushed people to quit faster than replacements could be found.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as a former negotiator. We're sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations. While this role does require dedication and strong problem-solving skills, many of our negotiators find it both financially rewarding and professionally fulfilling. Still, we understand that every experience is unique. We’re proud to have built a team of long-term employees who contribute to a stable, knowledgeable, and supportive environment. Our goal is to always equip every team member with the tools, training, and encouragement needed to succeed, and we regret if your experience ever felt overwhelming. We appreciate your acknowledgement of fair compensation and a positive office environment. If there’s anything specific you’d like to share that could help us improve, we welcome you to reach out directly at HR@alleviatefinancial.com.

There can be a large learning curve if you are unfamiliar with debt relief and credit review.
