Pros

The commission and bonus checks are good for the first few months.

Cons

Leadership at the director level and above will force you to engage in unethical practices. They actively say they can get rid of anybody they want. The company has a pip process that is automatic, and on a third pip you are supposed to be terminated. The company will pick and choose who gets terminated demonstrating extremely unfair values. You will be forced to work 6-7 days a week. You will be called at 6 or 7 am and be yelled at by your leadership for sleeping on your day off.

Absolute Nightmare - AVOID

Pros

There’s not a single positive thing to say here.

Cons

No work-life balance, low earning potential, unrealistic goals, unrealistic work load, constant employee turn over, incompetent executive leadership, horrible and toxic culture, terrible benefits, continuous slashing of commission bonus plan, and blatant favoritism towards those in the corporate HQ region. This company was formed from many formerly successful smaller AT&T retailers joining together and it all went downhill almost immediately. Our pay was cut by almost 50% and the single most important assets, the hard working people that made the stores what they were, began a mass exodus. In my time at Alliance Mobile the company displayed no value whatsoever in its employees. Leadership at the top is careless, incompetent, unhelpful, and without a shred of understanding for day-to-day at the store level. There was incredible sales pressure to achieve quotas that were impossible to reach. If you’re determined towards a career path in wireless sales, there are countless other avenues to take that don’t involve a nightmarish experience with Alliance Mobile.

Pros

My co-workers were fun to work with

Cons

14.00 per hour. You lose all commission if you don’t hit your goals. So they don’t believe in paying you your commissions for what you sell. They will fire you while laying in hospital bed for being a no show.
