      Pros

      Bernstein has a training program that will help students who have just graduated get their feet wet in the industry. They will also sponsor you for your FINRA licenses.

      Cons

      Overworked and underpaid. Turn over in this specific role is extremely high. The compensation is significantly less than industry standards. Hours are long and the work is mind numbing. Senior management mention that they are working on improving work life balance but nothing has changed within the last 2 years. In terms of career progression, there are only a few paths to go through.

      Pay was fair for the job, lots of opportunities for professional development

      Cons

      Should promote from within more often as it’s discouraging to be overlooked when one works hard. Sales team is demanding and supposes that client issues are life and death. Hiring practices should be improved. Hired some real duds which are a drain on time and resources, letting go of them after a year or so. (White) Male dominated. Need more women and persons of color.

      Good work environment. Employees are friendly working in collaborative teams.

      Cons

      Management is more concerned with the profit margins than the staff. Laid off staff not moving to Nashville during COVID crisis but claimed in an article that they were delaying it.
