Pros

People are great, most, at least lower level, employees care about the work the do.

Cons

The pay is awful and there is little change of making great strides in pay, even if promoted. They pay way better hiring externally than promoting within, according to salary discussions with other employees.

Pros

You think working from home is a pro, but with this company its not!

Cons

Allied works you like a machine. claims positions are salaried so they can. they recently changed their policy by stating we no longer need to punch in it out. this must be their way of hiding the hours they work us. now theres no record of our time for the labor board to see.. these people are sooo shady. I can not wait to find a new job. I may even quit b4 finding one due to this latest stunt.

Pros

Can’t think of a thing

Cons

After 20 years of dedication and above average performance, the management and Human Resources could care less about your loyalty to the company. Don’t have a death in the family and expect to take time off, the job would have to come first. I was threatened with termination if I didn’t come back the day of my husband’s funeral. Also expect to work continuously and probably the weekends. The company has plenty of threats in all departments to force you to quit.

Allied Benefit Systems Response
4y
We appreciate you taking the time to provide us feedback here at Allied. We are certainly sorry about your husband’s passing. We take great care in our response to our employee’s losing loved ones and offer bereavement leave and personal leaves to provide time away from work. We try our best to accommodate to varying circumstances and understand that this is not an easy time. While we understand that perhaps this wasn’t the right work environment for you, we do believe in a proper work life balance and ensuring our employees get the rest they need. We do not expect our employees to put work above everything else, but hope that while our employees are working that they do so to the best of their ability. We have a diverse leadership team with a wealth of experience that cares deeply for their employees and seeing them succeed. Their intent would never be to push out our best assets (employees). Our goal is and always will be to help develop our employees for them to attain any professional or personal goals they set their mind to. We wish you all the best on your future endeavors
