Pros

It's better than a retail job and you can zone out on your work. Just don't stay here long. Use it as a step to better jobs.

Cons

Management can act more like camp counselors or college RAs which leaves you feeling talked down to. The pay is low and doesn't get any better. They send out surveys to hear complaints and take suggestions but they are rarely actually enforced. Numbers matter more than you. Most conversations feel like fake sincerity just to get to what the person wants. The people who stay here long term are the people who want to stay comfortable in their position and never really grow.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. It is important that we hear these concerns, and our monthly survey offers employees an anonymous platform to provide feedback that is thoughtfully reviewed by management. We have consistently taken some feedback and results of those surveys and made improvements. We continually strive to create an environment that promotes open communication between all departments and roles that it is collaborative, professional, and respectful. Our virtual policy is an option for most employees, however, the flexibility of this program may vary based on department, role, and experience level. If you wish to provide further feedback or have ideas on how we could help you thrive in our working environment, please email us at humanresources@alliedbenefit.com.

Pros

Relaxed office environment & decent benefits. Some departments get to work from home a couple days a week. Company recently invested a lot of money in large-scale rebranding.

Cons

Horribly managed - especially the Billing Departments. Quality work is not adequately valued. Supervisors are uneducated & lack basic managerial skills. Extremely low pay grade. If companies knew about the number of errors & flawed ways these departments operate, they would be shocked.

Pros

A great group of knowledgeable employees; offers virtual positions.

Cons

High employee share of insurance premium (50% or more); salaried employees expected to work 50+ hours per week (which is the norm for salaried employees) however, required to take PTO if need 3 hours off during a day (regardless of # hours worked that week). Does not fully reimburse employees for travel to required on site meetings.
