The lack of care, awareness, and common sense from management was pretty mindboggling. As a driver, it's frustrating when your direct manager frequently gives you wrong addresses, wrong pickup times, wrong dates. It results in a lot of wasted time, and a lot of days where you wake up, drive some hours away, only to find your manager gave you the wrong date and you're expected to go home and try again tomorrow. It's even more frustrating when you talk to your manager about these issues, they claim to understand what you're saying, and the situation never improves in any noticeable way. It happened over and over.
I truly thought I'd be a lifer at this company, but I finally just gave up and washed my hands of this place, for my mental health. I'd honestly been kind of checked out since early pre-vaccine Covid days, when no one in the EMS bases (including management) would wear a mask despite the requirement being posted on every door.
Cons:
*Poor management
*Poor training of managers.
*Lack of communication between leaders
*Extremely poor HR
*Frequent angry passengers with endless political rants
