Pros

The Birmingham Express office is the most unprofessional place I've ever worked. Training is a joke, management is lazy, uneducated and uninformed. Occurrences are waived for attendance abusers and given to employees with real emergencies. There are no desk, just a board with a keyboard on it with employees stacked on top of each other. Employees are "coached" or told what they have done wrong in front of all the other employees but if your production is great, nothing is said to you. It's all about production. Rules are always changing in the middle of the game.

Cons

Medical insurance starts the first day of employment.

Pros

There are opportunities for promotion. Many managers do recognize team members for good work.

Cons

Allstate leadership's message does not match their actions. Expense management and cost reductions seem to only apply to the folks below Senior VP.
