Pros

Compensation is competitive, loads of talent throughout Ally Bank, great corporate headquarters in downtown charlotte - with free parking and a free gym in the building.

Cons

Management makes literally every decision there is. From deciding what color an ad should be to what words should be on the ad. If you are an independent thinker who enjoys some autonomy with your work, BE WARNED. Management will tell you what to do, when to do it, what strategy you should have to do your work (that you were hired to be the expert on), and then pan you when you question their approach... even when they're wrong!

Good Company with decent employee benefits. If your in the protected class or race the equality programs and endless budget. 401k employee match Location is nice

Cons

Horrible leadership especially in the information security area starting from the CIO the existing CISO. Barbarian style leadership. No transparency with employees. Dishonest leaders they just lie to employees. Little to no career progression. HR doesn’t protect employees. Good ole boys club with leadership. If your not in that club your outcasted. CISO is not approachable and just uses the dictatorship style with no reason or care for employees or there families.

There are virtually no pros working with this company apart from getting money to pay some bills.

Cons

Misogynist environment. RACIST environment. HOMOPHOBIC environment. If you are gay, female and non-white, stay the heck away from this company. THEY have particular dislike for BLACK gays. This company has got to be the most RACIST, HOMOPHOBIC and MISOGYNIST in the entire country. I would not advise any non-white person to work in such a KKK infested community. WORSE PLACE TO WORK!!!!
