Coworkers, skill building, okay benefits

Cons

It is impossible to stay motivated when we are required to do the work of 3 people due to cutting corners and employment/culture issues. Ally expects you to dedicate your entire life to them and doesn't respect you, pay you fairly, or give you any flexibility. Workers are treated as children and only toxic office police gets you promoted. Our departments lack innovative thinkers and leaders have no understanding of what it takes to bring us into the fintech market. We repeatedly fail customers and employees.

Call Center, kudos to those who can do this kind of job.

Pros

The benefits are not bad, the pay was decent but not worth it for the job. The people working there are nice.

Cons

The actual job is a call center where your soul will die. Everything is monitored, screens, calls, you will feel like you are in jail. If you can sit and be glued to your screen and monitor, you deserve all the riches in the world. Training takes forever but you do not actually train that much. 3 weeks of not really doing anything. As a class we would log in to all the programs and applications and see if we have access. In the morning we would do ice breakers and meet different managers and it seemed fun and cool. Then you get on the phones for a week with a mentor. You are 3 weeks in and that is when it hits you, this job is not for everyone but you are 3 weeks in maybe I can do this you say to yourself, don't be fooled. Know what you are getting yourself into. If you know you enjoy (or maybe you are a robot) call center work this position is for you.
