Pros

Good direct managers who care, PTO is close to what the bigger banks offer, they will pay a college contribution to a 529 account up to $5000 per child, really nice facility with your own workspace (no ‘hoteling’); employee stock purchase program and gifting is really good; health benefits are in line with other big banks

Cons

Out of touch and inflexible executives; rare opportunities for upward mobility and limited chances for lateral moves; bonus structure is far below what other banks pay; too much weight/stress on DEI office and programs and advertisements-executives would rather lay off 10% of the workforce than cut the budget to DEI office or advertisement budget for WNBA or NBA;

Pros

The job itself was enjoyable enough and manageable; however, considering the level of responsibility placed on each employee, a pay increase would be appropriate to reflect the workload.

Cons

The biggest challenge I faced was dealing with ongoing harassment from multiple coworkers over several weeks. After my own efforts to address the situation were unsuccessful, I brought the issue to my team lead’s attention. Unfortunately, the response focused solely on highlighting the company’s therapy benefits, rather than addressing the root of the problem. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency from management regarding job security, as assurances of no upcoming layoffs were followed by notable staff reductions shortly after. These experiences contributed to a work environment that felt unsupportive and challenging, at least at the Lewisville, TX location.
