Flexible schedules. You make your own schedule and call the clients yourself.

You work alone most of the time if you have regional center cases.

Pros

As a behavior specialist you are able to set your own hours and schedule which is great for parents, students or people who have things to tend to during the day. Hours may range as it is up to you to schedule and keep appointments.

Cons

If there is a cancellation for a scheduled meeting and the client cancels you do not get paid for the time. This may be annoying at times due to being far from home forcing you to wait in your car etc. until your next client. There is a lot of driving involved.
