Pros

I would say the schedule is the best thing about it.

Cons

toxic work environment here. not a good place to work at and pay is too little. the managers don't care and don't fingerprint you which endangers the safety of the children.

Pros

Pay is decent. Kids are cool.

Cons

They are incredibly disorganized. It takes forever to get the stuff you need when you start from your managers and they are snippy when you contact them. You are often called into virtual meetings with very little notice and these always occur at the same time that you have students with you. I have been added to meetings where the person who called it could not join because of poor planning and all of our time was wasted. Be prepared to be told you suddenly need something to be done in a very short window of time before your next shift. Do not expect to have the items you need to implement curriculum nor to get them in a timely manner if requested. Little to no training on how the program works. I have also been sent new curriculum details that I am expected to study in my off time without pay. The only reason I'm staying is to see out the school year with the kids, but I will not be a reapplying in the fall. My site director struggles with the technology that they are supposed to be using and also does not seem educated in neurodivergence and thus is snappy towards children with obvious learning disabilities because they are "not listening" or "misbehaving". I believe she means well but has also received next to zero training. It is advertised that you will get paid for training but that is at a rate of $10 per hour. You are paid for how long they think the course should last and not how long it will actually last. If 15 minute course will pay you $2.50 even if it takes you 45 minutes to complete.
