Pros

Depending on location/site you are assigned to, the work is pretty straightforward and often laid back at times. Mostly indoors, no strenuous work activities. Pay was decent at $11 but you did not work more than 4 hours a day if you were part time.

Cons

If you do not enjoy working around children or an environment involving children than this position is not for you. I do not have many cons because overall i enjoyed the job and my position. Only con i could say is that it is sometimes hard to grasp the children's attention and get them to listen to your instructions. Short hours.

Pros

Growing company within the local schools. Fun activities each day for the children. You work a few hours then have all day off and return for a few hours and your work day is over. The kids are great. Clear expectations set the environment up for success and the children thrive in the knowledge they are succeeding and becoming leaders.

Cons

It’s not a job for someone who wants to put in the minimum amount of work. You need to be on your toes and growing professionally every day. The changes are sometimes difficult to accustomed to.

Pros

Hours are typically from 2:30-6:30pm, meaning you start before rush hour starts and after it ends. They pay their employees for all training, including additional courses taken at their HR office. When it comes to the kids, they use a very clearly defined and straightforward system that's pretty easy to adjust to.

Cons

Personally, I feel that the way they market their program is misleading. You're really only herding large groups of children and simply ensuring they don't get hurt, and teaching is only a very minuscule role. I've been paid more for childcare in the past, but it's not an awful job in the least. Just wish they would have been more upfront initially.
