Pros

Earn a Quick Paycheck and pay for a Degree or two. It will help define your why very quickly.

Cons

A very incompetent group of individuals with accountability issues. High departmental slacktime and capacity management issues. A juvenile, ruffian, and coercive business culture. Recommended diversity and sentivity training before lawsuit. Lack of core values, mission, or vision. I was excited to leave quickly.

Pros

Decent benefits Good coworkers where they can be found AltaMed's gym is pretty great.

Cons

- Bureaucracy/Politics - Managers that don't know their jobs or how to effectively lead employee's but have been promoted simply because they've been here for years. - No framework or infrastructure to support any department. - I don't honestly know if AltaMed's leadership does not know about all of the horrible problems the company is facing or if they simply just don't care. - The answer to so many of AltaMed's problems is to just throw money at it until it goes away. AltaMed is one whistleblower lawsuit away from going out of business just like SynerMed.

Pros

Pay was the only decent thing...

Cons

Incompetent people get promoted first and foremost. They give feedback to employees about how everyone does or does not like your work----yes, you read that correct. They do this instead of encouraging adults to have grown up conversations. - Biggest revolving door I have ever seen at a company of this size. - Many people do not like you when they find out you are more competent than they are--makes work difficult. Last: I was never treated more poorly in my educated professional career--until I came to AltaMed. ...work here at your own risk
