      Free snacks, pay was decent

      In the time that I worked for Altamira they lost two contracts and laid off/fired a ton of people. Upper and middle management is a boys club more concerned with having a good time with their buddies than actually producing useful products for the government customer. There was a complete lack of support and direction during onboarding and training. The few contracts that they did have were only renewed on a six-month basis so there was NO job stability.

      Pros

      Opportunities abound. For those that are willing to put in the work and prove themselves to be a self-starter, there are plenty of opportunities to grow. Additionally, the environment allows for errors to be made to learn from.
