Management - has gotten worse over the years. Very short term thinkers. The focus now is on pleasing the "investors". Since they are not getting contracts consistently these days (now they have some real competition) they are always looking for reasons to let people go. And then when they do win something they complain that they don't have the staff to support the contract.
Security - even though your job relies on getting and maintaining a clearance, security personnel do not help you much unless you play golf with them. I'm not joking.
Compensation - pay is far below industry norms. They used to have good benefits but they are being gradually reduced, and do not even come close to making up for the low pay, in my opinion.
HR - do not go to them for help. They don't want to help you and anything you tell them may be used against you later.
You know what? I'm sick of thinking about Altamira. Let's just say you can't throw a rock in the Dayton area without hitting a defense contractor that's going to be a better place to work than Altamira. But read some more reviews and decide for yourself. Don't give too much weight to the ones that were clearly written by management.
