Pros

the only positive outcome of this job is the pay & medical benefits. Even then, they only pay you that much so they can work you thin & you can somewhat afford your hospital bills - because that’s where working at this job will take you.

Cons

Fruitless District Leaders & CEOs who only care about a check. The only way they know how to motivate is through humiliation. They preach how the company values its employees like family, but will not hesitate to make you feel like the most worthless being on earth. Their “faith based values” do not align with how they treat their employees.

Pros

50% discount on full price clothing

Cons

Literally everything else about the job. The company is incredibly misleading and fake. They obviously have no idea what they are doing at any given time and never train anyone properly, but God forbid you don't hit your numbers right away. You want to work here then you better be ready to kiss up 24/7 and never ask any real questions. Also if I had to hear about "the culture" one more time I think I'd lose it.

Pros

talk space (mental help support). I’m sure it’s being well used.

Cons

Where to start...RUN! I have been with this toxic company for 3+ years & have never felt so disrespected by sr executives in my retail career. The CEO is known for screaming and yelling at employees on company calls. The most recent call was about secret shops and how stores have not made a single improvement how to treat the customer. He also said how stores need to get their act together and start hiring on their own since their district leaders are doing their job; that's funny, I haven't had a DL in a while....His face was literally bright red from yelling so much. I know I was very motivated after that call. The company is cut throat & never show any recognition to stores. This is like being in an emotionally abusive relationship.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. As part of our ongoing efforts to communicate directly and transparently with our leaders at all locations, we will continue to conduct company-wide calls, typically led by our CEO or another member of the leadership team. Largely due to feedback received from our store team associates, we believe these calls are helpful in keeping the lines of communication open and keeping all of our teams aligned. Topics on these calls may certainly include areas in which we need to improve, and we also discuss why the improvement is important to our success. Topics on our calls also frequently include recognition for teams and individuals, with Store Leaders, District Leaders and Store Teams being the most frequently recognized for their positive contributions. The recent call you mentioned in your review is a good example. The first point made by our CEO when he talked about our Mystery Shop results was to complement and recognize the top Store Leader and Store Team in the company in Mystery Shop performance. As someone who's been a part of our team for a few years, you also know that Store Leaders are regularly mentioned by name on these calls as our CEO recognizes all Store Leaders that have achieved their goals for the month, quarter and/or year. Going forward, we will continue to address areas of opportunity with all of our associates, as we believe their ability to succeed as individuals is interconnected with our ability to thrive as a team. We will also continue to recognize outstanding performance as it occurs, and do our best to look for even more meaningful and impactful ways to celebrate the hard work and positive contributions made by our associates. We hope you are willing to recognize these efforts as they happen, and we look forward to celebrating your own individual achievements soon. Thanks!
