Pros

The company is truly amazing when it comes to give back and the love we share to our guest. When you look at the company from the outside it's a beautiful and amazing. Connecting with the guest is awesome and being able to make them happy is really awesome. The company really tries to do the right thing...

Cons

To be honest this is a company I will never want to work for again. The DMs harass you all day every day, they don't know how to leave you alone. If you have a unexpected visit the DMs freak out. You work like a slave and no one cares if you almost kill over. Everyone complains about work life balance and it's true. It's a joke so don't think you will get it. The window sets my team always cries because the are exhausted and have worked their butts off. The VDM comes after and gripes at you because she doesn't like it but it looks just like the photo. DMs are sometimes dumb because you send them a email about a situation and days later they are like what happen, why didn't you tell me. Haha in my head I'm like if you read my damn email you would know. DM and home office claim they care about their employees and they don't so don't be fooled. Recruiters promise all this crap that you never see so don't get sucked in. The company keeps a lot of bad people and get rid of the good ones. You will never be appreciate it so don't count on it. Regional managers are rude and mean and they don't care about you they just want to see that you're making money and all your metrics are green when that's not always realistic. Come join the company only at your own risk.

Thank you for your review and for your feedback. At our core is the desire to stand out for good both with our guests and associates. Ensuring that we have the right people on the team to deliver a great guest experience - visually, in-store service, store standards is an important part of sharing the Altar'd State story. Our Company continues to thrive and open stores in a highly competitive retail landscape and this can only be done through the hard work of our 1,300 associates. The recent implementation of a required 40 hour work week for Store Managers and Assistants was aimed at improving work life balance. We wish you would have reached out to your HR partner or me sooner, as we want associates to take advantage of our Open Door policy. We promise to follow up to better understand what we could have done differently to improve the experience.Thank you for your time and efforts and I wish you much success in the future.
