Hurtful Departure

Pros

Amazing employees, some of which I was able to build lasting relationships with. Loved most of the customers that I was able connect with, & I liked the fact we had visual freedom.

Cons

Quality of life was horrible, no work/ life balance whatsoever... I practically lived in my store, & did not feel like my hard work & efforts were appreciated.

Great place to work. It's nice that the company gives back to the community they are located in.

Cons

They require you to stay 2 hrs later after closing hours which, can make it a very long night and really hard when you have to open the next day. They need one set standard for their floor set instead of just guidelines when your DM can come back and say they don't like it.

The two hour close, which is very consistent at high performing retailers, is meant to allow time to refresh and replenish the store for the next day. We believe that focusing on these tasks after the store closes allows us more time to focus on the guest and her needs when the store is actually open. Delivering a great guest experience can only occur through clean and beautifully merchandised stores with highly engaged and selfless associates.
