Pros

Great discount, incredible coworkers, kind and helpful upper management, GIVE BACK COMPANY, gorgeous clothing/gift/etc, growth potential for TALENT, passionate leadership team. I've had ups and downs with this company, and seen associates/coworkers go through it as well. But at the end of the day, this is a job, a career, it won't be a walk in the park. I've enjoyed every day spent at my store, even when it's been a rough day. Embrace the growing process of the company, each employee (upper management and corporate included) retail is a tough business to excel in, especially in this day and age. Props to Altar'd State for bringing Jesus into the retail world! I adore this company with all my heart, excited to see what amazing things God has in store for it!!

Cons

Let me start by saying THIS IS RETAIL. Visuals take 8 hours, floor sets last through the night, customers can be rude, managerment can have issues. But again, retail people. With a growing company, you need to understand there are new things to learn at every corner. To flourish in this company you must be passionate and love what we stand for, be hard working and DEDICATED to furthing the success of this company. If you don't have the ability to tap into those major points, you don't need to join the Altar'd State team.

Thank you for your recent submission. Continue to focus on the guest and in delivering an amazing guest experience. When things are slow, make time for investing in yourself and asking your Manager for stretch assignments and new learning experiences!

Pros

Good discounts I guess. I had some really nice coworkers too.

Cons

"faith" based company who doesn't care anything at all about faith or expressing yourself. They're just in it for the corporate greed and care nothing for their employees so therefore their employee turnover is outrageous. Which is why their tuscaloosa store closed.
